Product Introduction

The stainless cable tray is formed from 304 or 316L sheet, wire or ladder components and then cleaned, pickled and passivated to restore a uniform protective surface. Smooth bends, stainless splice hardware and compatible supports prevent mixed-metal corrosion. Solid covers are available where the route is visible in the cleanroom, while ventilated or wire profiles can be used in service voids where heat dissipation is more important.

Key Features

316L material provides improved resistance where chloride-bearing cleaners are present.

Pickling removes fabrication scale and passivation restores the protective surface film.

Deburred edges protect both cable jackets and cleaning gloves.

Stainless fasteners avoid dissimilar-metal staining at tray joints.

Matching covers and fittings maintain one material system through the route.

Customer Product Concerns

Stainless tray performance depends on grade, fabrication finish and compatible joint hardware rather than material name alone.

Carbon-steel cut edges rust after repeated chemical cleaning.Stainless construction and post-fabrication passivation remove exposed ferrous coating breaks.
Mixed plated hardware produces rust streaks at joints.Matched stainless bolts, washers and supports maintain material compatibility.
Burrs cut cable jackets during installation.Rounded and mechanically deburred edges protect pulled conductors.
Open tray contents create a visible dust shelf.A fitted stainless cover closes exposed runs while remaining removable.
