Product Introduction

The pleated pre-filter forms cotton-synthetic or fully synthetic media into evenly spaced radial pleats over a corrosion-resistant downstream wire grid. The pleat geometry adds media area and dust storage within a familiar panel footprint. Adhesive bonds between the media, support grid and enclosing frame stop pleats from collapsing or fluttering at high airflow. Standard 25, 50 and 100 mm nominal depths allow the filter to replace flat throwaway panels while providing a longer service interval.

Pleated prefilters perform best when pleat spacing remains open and the panel seals evenly against the filter rack.

Closely packed pleats touch each other and create high-resistance dead zones.Controlled radial spacing keeps adjacent pleat walls separated throughout the panel.
