Product Introduction

The V-bank HEPA filter combines several glass-microfibre mini-pleat packs inside a rigid deep frame. Angling the packs creates substantially more effective filter area than a flat panel of the same face size, allowing higher airflow while controlling resistance. Continuous polyurethane potting secures each pack to the frame, and molded separators hold the pleat channels open under operating pressure. A perimeter gasket or downstream gel channel provides the selected sealing interface for supply-air housings, cleanroom air handlers and high-volume terminal modules.

Key Features

Multiple V-shaped mini-pleat packs place a large amount of filter media behind one standard face opening.

Rigid ABS or galvanized-steel construction resists racking during transport, clamping and high-volume operation.

Hot-melt pleat separators maintain uniform air channels and reduce localized media loading.

Continuous pack potting and a closed-cell gasket or gel channel support a controlled perimeter seal.

Customer Product Concerns

High-volume cleanroom systems need HEPA efficiency without consuming excessive fan energy or requiring an oversized filter bank.

A flat HEPA panel produces excessive resistance at the required design airflow. The V-bank arrangement increases media area so the same face opening can carry more air at a lower media velocity.
Pleat channels collapse or become uneven under high system pressure.Closely spaced hot-melt separators stabilize the mini-pleat geometry across every media pack.
Small frame distortions create bypass around the filter perimeter.A rigid deep frame and continuous gasket or gel interface distribute clamping pressure around all four sides.
Frequent filter changes disrupt a high-demand air-handling unit. The expanded media area distributes particulate loading over a larger surface and supports longer useful intervals.
