Product Introduction

The fixed germicidal luminaire mounts to a wall or ceiling and directs UV-C energy toward the defined treatment surface. Low-pressure UV lamps or suitable emitters sit within a corrosion-resistant reflector, while the ballast and terminals are enclosed behind a separate cover. The control connection can accept door, occupancy or remote timer signals so exposure is limited to the intended operating sequence.

Key Features

A polished aluminum reflector directs output toward the selected treatment zone.

The electrical chamber shields the ballast and terminals from the exposed lamp area.

A remote-enable input supports door, occupancy and timer control architecture.

A distinct status indicator makes an active treatment cycle visible.

Tool-retained lamp guards reduce accidental contact during servicing.

Customer Product Concerns

UV-C is useful only when dose, line of sight, material compatibility and safeguards are considered together for the specific installation.

Shadowed surfaces receive much less direct irradiation.Reflector orientation and multiple mounting positions are planned around the actual geometry.
A conventional light switch can energize the fixture while people are present.Dedicated interlock and remote-enable inputs separate treatment control from room lighting.
UV exposure degrades unprotected polymers and seals.UV-resistant adjacent materials and controlled cycle duration reduce unnecessary exposure.
Operators cannot distinguish standby from active treatment.A separate visible warning indicator confirms when the UV-C circuit is energized.
