Product Introduction

This electric drop bolt is recessed into the cleanroom header, frame or door leaf so only narrow stainless faceplates remain visible. A position input prevents premature projection, then the solenoid drives a hardened bolt into the keeper to secure the closed opening. Monitored versions can report both door alignment and bolt position, making the lock suitable for automated access sequences where a compact hidden mechanism is preferred.

Key Features

A stainless bolt and reinforced keeper provide positive mechanical engagement after the door closes.

The narrow mortise body fits aluminum cleanroom frames without a bulky external lock case.

Door-position and bolt-position contacts support separate closed and locked indications.

A controlled re-lock delay can accommodate door rebound before the bolt projects.

Customer Product Concerns

A concealed bolt must tolerate normal door movement while avoiding projection against a misaligned keeper.

A bolt that fires before the leaf settles can strike the keeper edge and jam.The lock uses door-position input and an adjustable delay before extension.
External lock cases disrupt the clean lines of a narrow aluminum frame. The solenoid body is mortised behind a slim stainless faceplate.
Maintenance staff need to know whether the bolt actually reached the locked position.A dedicated bolt monitor reports full extension independently of the door contact.
