Product Introduction

This window specifies tempered safety glass as the primary performance feature. The pane is cut, edge-worked and drilled before heat treatment, then installed in a cleanroom frame with continuous resilient support. Tempered glass offers substantially greater strength than ordinary annealed glass of the same thickness and breaks into small fragments rather than large sharp shards. It is suited to doorside observation zones, personnel routes and larger internal panes where accidental impact is a design concern.

Key Features

Heat treatment places the glass surfaces in compression for greater resistance to impact and temperature differentials.

Safety-fracture behavior reduces the risk associated with large sharp glass pieces after breakage.

Clear low-distortion glazing maintains direct operator sightlines through controlled-area partitions.

Continuous gasket or silicone support avoids hard point loading at the pane edge.

Customer Product Concerns

Safety glazing must be specified at the correct thickness and supported uniformly because all cutting and edge work must be completed before tempering.

Ordinary glass is vulnerable to accidental contact from carts or personnel.Tempered safety glass provides greater impact strength than annealed glass of the same thickness.
Edge damage during installation can initiate later glass failure.Finished edges, setting blocks and continuous resilient glazing keep the pane away from hard metal contact.
Late field drilling or trimming is requested after the opening changes. The pane is manufactured to final dimensions before tempering, with the frame adjusted rather than cutting the finished glass.
