Cleanroom Utility Systems
Water for Injection System
A multiple-effect distillation system for generating hot Water for Injection with hygienic construction, energy recovery and continuous quality monitoring.
- Falling-film multiple-effect distillation
- Integrated energy recovery
- Automatic off-quality diversion
Product Introduction
The skid uses sequential stainless-steel evaporation columns, feed preheaters, droplet separation and a final condenser to convert suitable feed water into high-purity hot distillate.
Key Features
Hygienic 316L product path
Feed preheating and heat recovery
Conductivity monitoring
Automatic diversion
PLC/HMI controls
Customer Product Concerns
WFI generation requires reliable vapor separation, drainable hygienic construction and protection against off-quality startup distillate.
Droplet carryover into product vaporUse staged gravitational or mechanical separation within each evaporation effect.
High utility consumptionRecover latent and sensible heat through sequential effects and feed preheaters.
Startup distillate is out of rangeMonitor conductivity continuously and divert product automatically until the accepted window is reached.
Difficult sanitization and drainageApply hygienic sloped piping, drainable columns and controlled hot operating or sanitization sequences.
