Product Introduction

The vertical in-line pump places suction and discharge flanges on a common centerline so it can be installed directly in a heating-water header. A close-coupled motor and removable rotating cartridge reduce floor space compared with base-mounted equipment. The cast-iron body and mechanical seal are selected for closed hydronic water, while optional speed control maintains differential pressure as control valves modulate.

Key Features

Equal in-line flanges simplify connection to straight horizontal supply or return headers.

Vertical motor placement uses little floor area and keeps the rotating assembly accessible from above.

A removable cartridge permits motor, coupling and seal service without removing the pump body from pipework.

Integrated variable-speed control can maintain pressure, temperature differential or scheduled circulation.

Customer Product Concerns

Heating loops need dependable circulation in crowded plantrooms without excessive pressure or standby heat loss.

A base-mounted pump consumes valuable mechanical-room floor space. The in-line body supports a vertical motor directly above the pipe centerline.
Constant flow creates valve noise when many zones close.Speed control reduces pump head as heating demand falls.
Seal maintenance normally requires draining and cutting the header. The top pull-out cartridge leaves the flanged red pump body installed.
Hot water transfers heat into nearby electrical components.A ventilated coupling section separates the motor from the hot volute.
