Electrode Steam Humidifier
A packaged atmospheric steam generator that uses water conductivity between immersed electrodes to supply hygienic steam to a duct lance or room blower.
- Conductivity-Based Steam Generation
- Replaceable Cylinder
- Adaptive Fill and Drain
- Duct or Room Dispersion
Product Introduction
Mains water enters a replaceable steam cylinder containing large-area electrodes. Electrical current passes through the water and generates steam directly, while automatic fill and drain cycles regulate conductivity and output. The cabinet contains the cylinder, fill cup, drain pump and touchscreen controls, and connects to either a duct steam distributor or a direct-room blower pack.
Key Features
A replaceable cylinder packages electrodes and accumulated mineral deposits into one service component.
Adaptive fill and blowdown respond to incoming water conductivity and operating current.
Touch controls provide proportional demand input, operating history and common building-control connections.
Customer Product Concerns
Electrode humidifiers depend on water conductivity and mineral management to deliver stable steam with predictable maintenance.
Feed-water conductivity changes and causes unstable current draw.Automatic fill and drain logic adapts cylinder water concentration to the measured electrical load.
Minerals accumulate on electrodes and reduce usable output. The complete electrode cylinder is removable and replaceable without dismantling the cabinet.
Condensate in the steam hose causes spitting at the distributor.Correct hose slope and a dedicated condensate return keep liquid out of the dispersion lance.
Humidity demand varies quickly with outdoor-air load.Proportional input modulates steam output across the usable cylinder range.
Typical Applications
