Product Introduction

Static-dissipative PVC flooring provides a moderated path to ground that sits between insulating resilient flooring and lower-resistance conductive systems. Dissipative ingredients are integrated throughout the homogeneous wear layer, so the electrical function remains available as the surface wears. Sheet and tile formats can be bonded into a grounded installation, with sheet joints hot welded for areas that need a closed cleaning surface. The wider resistance window suits controlled spaces where personnel comfort, equipment protection and leakage-current considerations must be balanced.

Key Features

The 1×10⁶–1×10⁹ Ω resistance range drains charge more gradually than electrostatic-conductive flooring.

Static-control ingredients extend through the homogeneous layer rather than existing only in a removable coating.

A dense 2 mm construction withstands castor traffic in laboratories and clinical support rooms.

Matching welding rod creates a closed seam across sheet installations and site-formed coving.

Customer Product Concerns

Many controlled rooms need reliable static decay without the very low resistance or installation regime of a conductive floor.

Insulating vinyl allows charge to remain on personnel and mobile equipment. The dissipative matrix provides a specified path to ground across the installed floor.
A highly conductive system may be unnecessary for moderate-sensitivity equipment. The higher 1×10⁶–1×10⁹ Ω range delivers controlled decay suited to dissipative applications.
Temporary ESD polishes require frequent electrical and maintenance checks.Permanent ingredients in the full-thickness PVC body provide the primary static-control function.
Mixed sheet and tile zones create uncertainty about grounding continuity.A defined adhesive, copper-strip and test-point layout gives the complete floor a traceable earth path.
