Static-dissipative PVC flooring provides a moderated path to ground that sits between insulating resilient flooring and lower-resistance conductive systems. Dissipative ingredients are integrated throughout the homogeneous wear layer, so the electrical function remains available as the surface wears. Sheet and tile formats can be bonded into a grounded installation, with sheet joints hot welded for areas that need a closed cleaning surface. The wider resistance window suits controlled spaces where personnel comfort, equipment protection and leakage-current considerations must be balanced.
