Heavy-Duty Polyurethane Cement Flooring
- Thermal-Shock Resistance
- 6–9 mm Heavy-Duty Build
- Wet-Process Durability
- Impact and Chemical Resistance
Product Introduction
Heavy-duty polyurethane cement flooring combines a water-dispersed polyurethane binder with cementitious components, pigments and graded aggregate. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is closer to concrete than a conventional resin coating, helping the system remain bonded during repeated hot-water cleaning and cold-service cycles. The 6–9 mm screed provides deep mechanical protection and a textured, liquid-impermeable finish for demanding wet production. Properly formed falls, coves, drain edges and retained structural joints complete the hygienic floor envelope.
Key Features
A thick aggregate structure absorbs impact and abrasion from pallets, racks and mobile processing equipment.
Textured finishes maintain practical traction where water, detergent or process residue may reach the floor.
Monolithic coves and detailed drain interfaces reduce vulnerable grout lines in frequent washdown areas.
Customer Product Concerns
Wet process floors face thermal shock, aggressive sanitation, impact and standing liquid at the same time, which can overwhelm a thin decorative coating.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
The following ranges describe a heavy-duty polyurethane cement screed for wet and thermally demanding service.
| Core Material | Water-dispersed polyurethane binder, cementitious component, pigment and graded mineral aggregate |
|---|---|
| Panel Thickness | 6.0–9.0 mm nominal heavy-duty screed thickness |
| Effective Width | Typically 1500–3000 mm rake or trowel placement strip width |
| Maximum Length | Typically up to 9000 mm work section before planned construction joints |
| Steel Facing Thickness | 0 mm; the wearing surface is polyurethane cement, not steel sheet |
| Core Density | Approximately 1900–2100 kg/m³ for the cured aggregate-filled screed |
| Thermal Conductivity | Typically 0.60–0.90 W/(m·K) for dense polyurethane cement flooring |
| Surface Finish | Matte solid-color surface with medium or heavy slip-resistant aggregate profile |
| Joint Type | Rebated and primer-bonded screed with anchored edges, integral coves and existing movement joints carried through |
| Customization | Available based on the intended application and operating environment. |
