Product Introduction

The ESD workbench creates a controlled discharge path from the operator, work surface and bench accessories to a verified common ground. A dissipative laminate or rubber work layer prevents rapid discharge while a conductive metal frame maintains electrical continuity. Ground studs, wrist-strap terminals and optional monitor points are positioned away from the active assembly surface. Smooth sealed edges and low-shedding cable channels retain cleanroom compatibility.

Key Features

A dissipative work layer drains charge at a controlled rate instead of producing a sudden spark.

A clearly identified common-point ground connects the top, frame and operator accessories in one location.

Conductive shelves and bins can be bonded to the bench rather than forming isolated charged objects.

Enclosed power distribution keeps mains wiring separate from grounding leads and the product zone.

Customer Product Concerns

Sensitive components can be damaged by charges on the operator, work surface or accessories even when the room itself is clean.

Grounding only the operator leaves trays and the work surface electrically isolated.A bonded frame and surface connect all workstation elements to the same common ground.
Highly conductive metal surfaces can discharge too rapidly into exposed devices. The dissipative work layer limits current while still removing accumulated charge.
Unlabelled grounding cords are disconnected during bench rearrangement.Dedicated colour-coded terminals keep protective earth and operator connections identifiable.
Ordinary plastic drawers and shelves accumulate charge beside components.Compatible dissipative bins and grounded metal accessories extend control beyond the tabletop.
