Product Introduction

Cleanroom U-Channel Edge Trim is a rigid 6063-T5 aluminum extrusion sized to cap the end of a modular wall or ceiling panel. It protects exposed panel skins and core material, keeps the termination straight and supplies a controlled line for hygienic sealant. Common internal widths match 50, 75 and 100 mm panel systems, while anodized or white powder-coated finishes coordinate with the cleanroom envelope. The profile is useful at wall ends, ceiling perimeters, framed openings and selected T-junctions where a simple, durable closure is preferred to a multi-part trim.

Key Features

The U-shaped section captures both panel faces and shields the core from direct contact.

6063-T5 aluminum combines dimensional accuracy with practical corrosion resistance indoors.

A straight extrusion creates a consistent perimeter line for silicone or gasket sealing.

Standard channel widths match widely used 50, 75 and 100 mm modular panel systems.

Anodized and powder-coated finishes avoid an unfinished metallic edge in the clean area.

Customer Product Concerns

Edge closures must protect the panel core, remain straight over long runs and leave a surface that can be sealed and wiped without exposed fasteners.

An exposed sandwich-panel core can shed particles or absorb cleaning moisture. The full-depth channel encloses both skins and the open core edge behind a sealed aluminum face.
A loose termination lets the panel end move and crack the sealant line.A correctly sized internal channel width grips the panel and distributes restraint along the edge.
Uneven cut edges remain visible beside doors, windows or equipment openings. The straight extrusion masks minor edge variation and establishes a uniform finished reveal.
Bare or rough metal edges are difficult to clean safely.Smooth anodized or powder-coated aluminum presents a closed, wipeable perimeter surface.
