Product Introduction

Antibacterial sealant is a one-component, moisture-curing compound intended for sanitary perimeter and connection joints in controlled interiors. The cured bead forms an elastic, non-porous transition that tolerates routine cleaning moisture and limits surface conditions that support mold or bacterial growth. Its non-sag consistency permits neat application around coated panels, frames, benches and service interfaces, while compatible primers can be selected for demanding or dissimilar substrates.

Key Features

A smooth, closed cured surface reduces crevices where moisture and cleaning residue can remain.

Fungus- and mold-resistant formulations support hygienic joints in repeatedly damp service areas.

Elastic movement capability helps the bead remain continuous as panels, frames and fixtures expand differently.

Non-sag application allows controlled tooling on vertical perimeters and overhead junctions.

Customer Product Concerns

Frequently cleaned cleanroom joints need to remain smooth and sealed even when exposed to moisture, disinfectants and small substrate movements.

Persistent moisture at rough joints creates sheltered areas for mold and residue accumulation.A finely tooled, non-porous bead removes open crevices and presents an accessible cleaning surface.
Repeated washdown causes unsuitable fillers to soften, discolor or detach.A moisture-resistant hygienic formulation is matched to the cleaning regime and allowed to cure fully before service.
Movement between fixtures and wall panels opens cracks at rigid sanitary junctions. The elastomeric seal follows normal differential movement without relying on a brittle cementitious bridge.
Incompatible cleaners can gradually damage an otherwise sound joint.Chemical compatibility is checked against the intended disinfectant concentration, contact time and cleaning temperature.
