Product Introduction

This vane anemometer combines a reversible large-area impeller head with a handheld digital display. The 100 mm rotor averages uneven flow over a broader sensing area than a point probe, making it useful at filter faces, coils and ventilation openings. Sweep and time-averaging functions help operators document representative velocity or air-volume results.

Key Features

Reversible 100 mm vane head measures supply and extract airflow.

Large sensing area averages nonuniform velocity across grilles and filters.

Sweep mode consolidates readings while the vane traverses a larger opening.

Entered duct area converts measured velocity into volumetric flow.

Detachable head supports positioning in confined ventilation locations.

Optional articulated extension improves access to overhead diffusers.

Customer Product Concerns

Airflow across filters and large ventilation openings is rarely uniform, so a practical survey tool must average a meaningful area while remaining easy to orient at each test point.

Velocity varies substantially across a large filter or grille face. The 100 mm vane averages a wider local area and sweep mode supports a representative traverse.
Supply and extract openings require measurements in opposite flow directions.A reversible sensing head supports both airflow directions without changing instruments.
Calculating volume flow manually from many velocity readings is inefficient.Stored opening dimensions allow the meter to calculate volume flow directly.
Ceiling outlets are hard to reach while maintaining correct head orientation. An articulated telescopic extension positions the vane square to the outlet from floor level.
