Single MgO Rock Wool Cleanroom Panel

An asymmetric cleanroom wall panel with one MgO reinforcement board positioned beneath the designated steel face, giving targeted substrate strength while using less material and weight than a double-sided MgO construction.

Product Introduction

This panel combines a rock wool core, one magnesium oxide reinforcement board and two cleanable steel facings. The MgO layer is deliberately placed on the side that needs a firmer substrate, while the opposite side retains a simpler build-up. Clear orientation marking ensures that the reinforced face is installed toward equipment, utility or impact exposure. The panel is useful where wall functions differ from one side to the other and a full double-MgO construction would add unnecessary weight.

Key Features

A single MgO board concentrates extra stiffness on the face that actually needs it.

Reduced inorganic-board content lowers handling weight compared with double-sided reinforcement.

Orientation marks make the reinforced surface easy to identify during installation.

The rock wool core provides mineral insulation while remaining closed behind metal facings.

Dedicated inserts can be added behind known accessory positions without reinforcing the whole panel.

Customer Product Concerns

This panel addresses installations where only one wall face needs a rigid substrate or added impact support.

Using two MgO boards adds weight where only one face needs reinforcement. The asymmetric build-up places a single board behind the functional side of the wall.
Installers can accidentally reverse a one-sided reinforced panel.Permanent face identification and directional packaging keep the MgO side correctly oriented.
Light fittings may crush an unsupported mineral-core surface. The MgO layer spreads low to moderate fastening loads over a wider area.
Different activities on opposite sides of a wall require different surface behavior. The panel construction assigns the reinforced face to the more demanding side while preserving a clean finish on both sides.

Typical Applications

Cleanroom walls with a utility-side faceLaboratory partitions supporting light fittingsRetrofit enclosures with handling limitsEquipment perimeter wallsMedical-device production partitions
