Product Introduction

PIR pre-insulated ductwork is cut and folded from rigid closed-cell panels faced on both sides with aluminum foil. The finished duct eliminates the separate sheet-metal shell and external insulation layer used in conventional systems, reducing installed weight and limiting thermal bridges. Male-female panel edges, aluminum profiles, vapor-tight foil tape and compatible sealant form the longitudinal and transverse joints. The smooth foil interior suits dry conditioned supply and return air where the panel is protected from impact and the selected facing is compatible with cleaning practices.

Key Features

Low-conductivity PIR foam provides useful thermal resistance with a compact 20–30 mm wall.

Continuous foil facings create clean internal and external surfaces and support vapor control.

The combined duct-and-insulation panel reduces suspended load and installation operations.

Factory-routed grooves and aluminum closure profiles produce accurate corners and branch fittings.

Customer Product Concerns

A pre-insulated duct must preserve an uninterrupted vapor barrier and protect its foam edges from air leakage, moisture and jobsite damage.

Separate metal duct and insulation increase ceiling load and labor. One rigid PIR panel performs as the duct wall and thermal insulation layer.
Foil cuts at corners become paths for condensation moisture.Continuous foil tape, formed corner profiles and compatible sealant close every exposed edge.
Foam panels are damaged around hangers and service openings.Load-spreading support saddles and reinforced penetrations protect the low-density core.
Field-made joints vary in alignment and air tightness.Matched edge profiles and controlled cutting templates produce repeatable section geometry.
