Isolation Transformer
- Galvanically Isolated Windings
- Low-Noise Laminated Core
- Electrostatic Shield Option
- Enclosed Finger-Safe Terminals
Product Introduction
The isolation transformer uses separate primary and secondary windings on a laminated magnetic core. Encapsulated or varnish-impregnated coils resist moisture and vibration, and an optional copper electrostatic shield is bonded to earth between windings to attenuate common-mode noise. The assembly is housed in a non-ventilated or guarded enclosure with clearly separated input and output terminals.
Key Features
Encapsulated coils support consistent insulation and lower audible vibration.
An interwinding shield diverts coupled high-frequency noise to protective earth.
Finger-safe terminal blocks organize primary taps and secondary connections.
Rubber isolation mounts reduce mechanical hum transmitted to the floor or wall.
Customer Product Concerns
Sensitive equipment can be affected by ground noise, voltage mismatch and transformer hum even when the nominal supply remains available.
