Hygienic Air Handling Unit
- Drainable Wet Sections
- Corrosion-Resistant Interior
- Removable Treatment Components
- Accessible Cleanable Surfaces
Product Introduction
The hygienic air handling unit emphasizes internal access, drainage and material compatibility wherever treated air may affect sensitive occupants or products. Smooth metal lining covers insulation and frame cavities, service doors provide access to both faces of coils and filters, and condensate pans extend beneath the complete coil and eliminator assembly. Fans are selected without belt debris in the airstream, and seals use closed-cell materials that do not retain moisture. The result is a serviceable unit for hospitals, food processing and hygiene-critical manufacturing.
Key Features
Coil sections use fully drainable pans and accessible eliminators to control water carryover.
Pull-out filters, coils and service panels reduce inaccessible surfaces during periodic cleaning.
Direct-drive fans remove belts and pulleys from the treated airstream.
Customer Product Concerns
Hygienic air treatment fails when moisture, retained debris or inaccessible surfaces remain inside the equipment between maintenance intervals.
