Heavy-Duty Epoxy Mortar Flooring
- 3–8 mm Mortar Build
- High Impact Resistance
- Graded Quartz Reinforcement
- Troweled Load-Bearing Surface
Product Introduction
Heavy-duty epoxy mortar flooring combines epoxy resin, amine curing agent, pigment and carefully graded quartz aggregate in a dense trowel-applied screed. The aggregate-rich composition carries point loads and resists gouging more effectively than a thin coating, making it suitable beneath heavy carts, mobile equipment and repeated material transfer. A compatible grout or seal coat closes the textured mortar surface where cleanability is critical, while coves and local ramps can be formed from the same mortar family.
Key Features
Trowel application accommodates worn concrete, local falls and thicker transitions around equipment bases.
The mortar can be finished with a pore-closing grout and protective topcoat for controlled production areas.
Localized repairs can rebuild damaged edges and ramps without replacing an entire slab section.
Customer Product Concerns
Thin resin films can look intact yet fail quickly when concentrated wheels, dropped tools or damaged concrete impose high mechanical stress.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
These values represent a typical quartz-filled, trowel-applied epoxy mortar flooring system.
| Core Material | Epoxy resin and amine hardener with pigment and selected graded quartz aggregate |
|---|---|
| Panel Thickness | 3.0–8.0 mm troweled mortar system thickness |
| Effective Width | Typically 1500–3000 mm hand-trowel placement strip width |
| Maximum Length | Typically up to 10000 mm work section before planned day joints |
| Steel Facing Thickness | 0 mm; the load-bearing facing is epoxy mortar rather than steel |
| Core Density | Approximately 2100–2200 kg/m³ for the finished quartz-filled screed |
| Thermal Conductivity | Typically 0.55–0.85 W/(m·K) for dense quartz-filled epoxy mortar |
| Surface Finish | Troweled matte texture with optional epoxy grout and satin or gloss seal coat |
| Joint Type | Primer-bonded mortar screed with keyed edges, sealed day joints and retained slab movement joints |
| Customization | Available based on the intended application and operating environment. |
