Product Introduction

The flanged duct heater mounts directly between rectangular duct sections and places six horizontal resistance elements across one airflow opening. Ceramic supports maintain element spacing, while the attached electrical enclosure houses contactors, terminals and high-limit protection. An airflow switch and staged controller prevent full power under inadequate ventilation, and the complete element rack can be withdrawn from the housing for inspection.

Key Features

Matching inlet and outlet flanges make the heater a self-contained rectangular duct module.

Six horizontal elements form one uniform bank rather than separate obstructive columns.

The external control enclosure keeps contactors and wiring out of the heated airflow.

A manual-reset high limit and airflow interlock interrupt heating before unsafe temperature rise.

Customer Product Concerns

A duct heater must match airflow, electrical load and safety control without creating a high-pressure obstruction.

Low airflow can overheat the elements and adjacent duct insulation.Airflow proving and independent high-limit cutouts interrupt the contactor circuit.
Multiple narrow element columns cause uneven leaving-air temperature. One six-element rack spans the active width with consistent horizontal spacing.
Service access requires dismantling long duct runs. The heater rack withdraws laterally while the flanged outer housing remains installed.
Power switching generates heat and dust inside the airstream.Contactors, fuses and terminals are enclosed in the external side control cabinet.
