Product Introduction

This socket combines a flame- and dust-protected pin-and-sleeve receptacle with a rotary isolating switch. The mechanical sequence prevents the plug from being withdrawn while contacts remain energized. For controlled environments, the assembly is mounted through a brushed 316L panel that covers the wall opening and positions the heavier alloy device behind a smooth hygienic flange.

Key Features

The switch cannot close until the plug is correctly engaged.

The plug remains mechanically retained until the isolator returns to off.

Color and keying prevent connection of incompatible voltage configurations.

A hinged protective cap closes the receptacle when unused.

The stainless mounting panel separates the rugged device body from the room wall joint.

Customer Product Concerns

Portable power in a hazardous cleanroom must control arcing at the contacts while keeping a complex industrial receptacle cleanable.

A plug can arc if it is removed under electrical load. The rotary interlock opens the circuit before mechanical release of the plug.
Different-voltage plugs look similar during fast maintenance work.Physical keying and color coding block mismatched connections.
The heavy cast body leaves a rough opening in a sandwich wall.A rigid stainless sanitary panel spans and seals the complete cutout.
Dust or wash liquid enters an unused receptacle.A retained gasketed cap closes the device between connections.
