Product Introduction

The ESD-safe clean bench adds a controlled electrical path to the standard clean-air workspace. Its static-dissipative laminate or conductive stainless work surface connects to a dedicated grounding point, while optional overhead ionizers neutralize charge on insulated parts. Electrical outlets and signal connections are routed separately from grounding hardware to keep the workstation organized. The filtered airflow protects particle-sensitive electronics; the ESD features address charge control without changing the bench into a hazardous-material enclosure.

Key Features

A grounded static-dissipative worktop drains charge without the abrupt discharge of a bare conductor.

Dedicated wrist-strap and equipment-ground terminals keep personal grounding visible and accessible.

Optional balanced ionizing bars address charge on plastics and other isolated surfaces.

Insulated power channels keep mains wiring separate from signal and ground leads.

A grounding continuity point supports routine checks of the bench bonding network.

Customer Product Concerns

Particle control alone does not prevent electrostatic attraction, latent device damage or discharge from isolated materials.

Plastic carriers retain charge even when the bench frame is grounded.A balanced ionization option neutralizes isolated surfaces in the clean airflow.
Operators connect wrist straps to improvised metal points.Clearly positioned ground terminals provide a defined personal grounding connection.
Power cables mix with sensitive measurement leads.Separated utility channels keep mains, signal and grounding paths organized.
Static status becomes uncertain after bench relocation. An accessible bonding point allows continuity and resistance checks after installation.
