Direct-Expansion Cooling Coil
- Multi-Circuit Refrigerant Distribution
- Direct Evaporative Cooling
- Large Suction Header
- Matched Condensing Unit Service
Product Introduction
Liquid refrigerant enters a brass distributor and divides through small feeder tubes into multiple copper circuits. It evaporates as air crosses the fin pack, then returns through a large suction header to the remote condensing unit. Distributor sizing, circuit length and coil orientation are coordinated to keep all rows active across the expected load range and to return oil reliably.
Key Features
Copper circuits and aluminum fins provide direct sensible and latent cooling without a secondary water loop.
A large suction header collects vapor at controlled velocity for stable superheat and oil return.
Independent or intertwined circuits can support staged compressors and part-load face coverage.
Customer Product Concerns
DX coils depend on uniform refrigerant distribution and correctly matched circuits to prevent starving, flooding and temperature streaks.
