Product Introduction

The cytotoxic cabinet uses an open-front Class II-style airflow pattern with inward capture and filtered vertical downflow, combined with dedicated exhaust and enhanced filter staging for hazardous drug work. A leak-tight stainless work zone, removable segmented tray and negative-pressure plenums reduce contamination traps. The exhaust method, filter arrangement and room installation are selected for the facility's hazardous drug handling program rather than described as one universal cabinet type.

Key Features

Inward face airflow opposes hazardous aerosol movement toward the operator.

Filtered downflow protects prepared products and limits work-zone cross-contamination.

Additional exhaust filtration provides a secondary particulate barrier.

Negative-pressure plenums surround contaminated air paths.

A segmented work tray and spill pan support controlled cleaning after compounding.

Customer Product Concerns

Hazardous drug preparation must protect the operator, product and surrounding environment while supporting controlled cleanup of spills and residues.

Aerosols can escape through the front opening during manipulation.Stable inward airflow and a defined sash height maintain the operator boundary.
Residue accumulates beneath the work surface.Segmented lift-out trays expose a stainless spill pan for cleaning.
A single filter stage offers limited redundancy.Enhanced supply and exhaust filter staging adds particulate barriers in the airflow path.
Exhaust configuration is selected without room coordination. The cabinet connection is matched to the facility exhaust and hazardous drug procedure.
