Product Introduction

The Cleanroom Shielding Bag combines a durable polyester outer layer, a thin aluminum shielding layer and a heat-sealable dissipative polyethylene inner layer. The metalized construction reduces electric-field penetration while the polymer surfaces permit controlled charge dissipation. Its opaque silver barrier also limits moisture and light exposure during dry-pack storage.

Key Features

Continuous metal layer creates a protective shielding envelope

Dissipative surfaces reduce uncontrolled charge concentration

Polyester outer face improves puncture and scuff resistance

Polyethylene inner face supports airtight heat sealing

Clean conversion and double packaging aid controlled-area transfer

Customer Product Concerns

Sensitive devices may be damaged by electrostatic discharge, moisture ingress or punctured packaging. Shielding depends on an intact conductive envelope and a complete seal around the packed component.

Pinholes or folds can interrupt the barrier and reduce protection.Inspect the pouch surface and avoid severe creasing before use.
Contaminated seal areas can form leak channels.Keep the seal zone flat and qualify the sealing cycle.
Sharp leads may puncture the laminate from inside.Use lead protection or rigid trays for pointed components.
An ungrounded operator can introduce charge during packing.Handle the bag within the approved grounded ESD-control process.

Typical Applications

For dry packing and protected transfer of PCBs, integrated circuits, sensors, semiconductor modules, precision electronic assemblies and moisture-sensitive devices.

Technical Parameters

These conservative ranges describe a metalized dissipative cleanroom pouch. Final thickness, barrier grade, dimensions and seal settings should match the device sensitivity and storage interval.
