Product Introduction

The cleanroom panic exit device mounts across the inside face of an exit door and converts pressure on the touch rail into immediate latch retraction. An aluminum chassis carries the linkage between the active bar and the stainless latch case, while black end covers and a narrow red safety accent identify the operating surface. The external side can accept a controlled trim handle without defeating free egress from the clean side.

Key Features

The wide touch surface can be operated without locating a small lever during urgent movement.

A protected linkage transfers bar travel directly to the latch bolt at the door edge.

Smooth anodized and coated surfaces reduce crevices compared with exposed crossbar hardware.

Optional exterior trim allows controlled entry while the interior touch bar remains freely operable.

Customer Product Concerns

Emergency hardware must release intuitively under body pressure while still seating the door securely during normal cleanroom operation.

A small lever is difficult to locate or operate while carrying equipment during evacuation. The horizontal touch surface retracts the latch anywhere along the active rail.
Bulky crossbar mechanisms create exposed pivots and cleaning obstacles. The low-profile enclosed rail protects the internal linkage behind smooth covers.
Uncontrolled outside entry compromises the restricted cleanroom boundary.Compatible exterior trim can remain access-controlled while interior egress stays available.

Typical Applications

Cleanroom emergency exit doorsLaboratory escape routesHospital controlled-area exitsPharmaceutical production corridors
