Product Introduction

The chilled-water pump couples a single-stage cast-iron volute to a high-efficiency motor on a common baseplate. Its end-suction geometry provides a straight inlet path, while the top discharge fits conventional mechanical-room headers. A guarded flexible coupling accommodates minor alignment tolerance and allows the rotating assembly to be serviced without disturbing connected pipework when a back-pull-out arrangement is selected.

Key Features

A smoothly contoured volute converts impeller velocity into useful system pressure with limited hydraulic loss.

Common-base motor and pump alignment reduces vibration transmitted to cleanroom piping networks.

Mechanical-seal and coupling access supports planned maintenance without cutting the main suction and discharge lines.

Variable-frequency drive compatibility follows two-way valve demand and reduces unnecessary throttling energy.

Customer Product Concerns

Chilled-water service requires correct flow, low vibration and reliable seals across continuously changing cooling demand.

Oversized constant-speed pumps waste energy against throttled valves.A variable-speed motor adjusts differential pressure and flow to actual coil demand.
Poor suction conditions create cavitation noise and impeller damage.A straight end-suction inlet and correctly selected NPSH margin support stable flow into the eye.
Motor-pump misalignment shortens bearing and seal life.A machined common base and guarded flexible coupling preserve shaft alignment.
Seal replacement causes extended system shutdown.Back-pull-out access removes the rotating assembly while the volute remains connected to the piping.
