Product Introduction

The room pressure test port uses a slim rectangular stainless faceplate to bring a low-pressure reference line to an accessible cleanroom wall surface. A central threaded service nipple accepts a compatible portable manometer hose, while the rear fitting connects to the concealed pressure tube. The knurled closure stays attached to a dedicated chain anchor and seals the exposed test point between checks. Two vertically aligned mounting holes and a compressible backing gasket keep the plate stable and limit false readings caused by air movement from the wall cavity.

Key Features

The low-profile brushed plate presents a smooth wipeable surface at the monitored room boundary.

A central M5 service nipple gives technicians a defined connection for compatible differential-pressure test tubing.

The knurled sealing cap closes the pressure opening between measurements and remains captured by a short stainless chain.

Two countersunk holes on the vertical centerline secure the plate without crowding the pressure fitting.

A single rear bulkhead connector provides a direct transition to the concealed reference tube without an exposed instrument body.

Customer Product Concerns

Very small room pressure differences are easily distorted by wall-cavity drafts, contaminated tubing or an unsealed service connection.

Air leaking around a loose wall plate can bias the pressure reference at the pickup point. The two-screw faceplate compresses a compatible backing gasket against the finished wall surface.
An open test nipple can collect cleaning residue or become a persistent pressure leak. The close-fitting knurled cap seals the front connection and stays attached to its dedicated chain anchor.
Long, kinked or wet reference tubing slows response and produces unstable manometer readings. The direct rear fitting supports a short, correctly routed tube that can be inspected for blockage and condensation.
A service fitting mounted without anti-rotation support can loosen when test hoses are connected repeatedly. The rectangular plate and separated top-and-bottom fixings resist turning loads around the central nipple.

Typical Applications
