Product Introduction

This Pitot tube uses a forward-facing impact opening and circumferential static ports to develop velocity pressure without electrical sensing elements. Its slender stainless shaft enters duct access holes with limited blockage, while etched insertion marks help repeat probe depth across a traverse. Separate high and low connections attach to a micromanometer for velocity calculation.

Key Features

Concentric total and static passages produce differential velocity pressure.

Stainless construction tolerates repeated duct insertion and cleaning.

Slender shaft minimizes blockage within the measured airflow.

Etched depth marks support repeatable traverse-point positioning.

Right-angle head aligns the impact opening with duct airflow.

Separate color-coded hose connections reduce polarity mistakes.

Customer Product Concerns

Accurate duct airflow measurement requires pressure sampling at prescribed depths while keeping the sensing head aligned and minimizing obstruction of the air stream.

A single centerline reading may not represent the duct average.Etched depth markings support a defined multi-point traverse across the duct area.
Probe insertion can disturb flow in a small duct. The slender shaft and compact sensing head limit blockage at each point.
Reversed pressure tubing creates invalid negative velocity pressure.Separate color-coded total and static outlets clarify the connection to the micromanometer.
Duct probes are exposed to handling and repeated cleaning.All-stainless construction provides a durable, smooth and cleanable surface.
