Product Introduction

The pass box interlock system is designed for two closely coupled transfer-hatch doors. Magnetic contacts confirm the actual door position, while compact electric strikes or electromagnetic locks enforce the interlock. Stainless pushbutton indicators on each side show whether the local door is available, occupied or locked. A release delay can be added after closure, and optional germicidal-cycle or purge-ready inputs can hold both doors locked while the pass box completes its internal sequence.

Key Features

A dedicated two-door logic board fits within the pass box service compartment.

Door contacts verify physical closure instead of relying only on the lock command.

Illuminated stainless buttons communicate local request and availability at both sides.

Optional cycle input keeps both doors secured during purge or internal treatment operation.

Customer Product Concerns

A pass box interlock must fit a compact enclosure and tolerate frequent door cycles while protecting the transfer boundary.

One door appears closed but the latch has not fully seated.A dedicated magnetic contact confirms actual closure before the opposite lock releases.
Operators on opposite sides cannot see which door is being used.Local illuminated indicators show available, occupied and alarm states on both faces.
Door slamming causes contacts to bounce and the opposite lock to chatter.Input debounce and a short release delay stabilize the sequence after closure.
A purge or treatment cycle is interrupted by an early door request.A cycle-hold input locks both doors until the pass box confirms completion.
