Product Introduction

The Internal Cleanroom Coving Profile forms a continuous concave radius where two room surfaces meet. A concealed backing section is fixed first, then the finished cove face clips into position to cover fasteners and bridge the junction. The rounded geometry makes wiping easier than a tight square corner and can remain in place while compatible wall panels are removed from nearby bays.

Key Features

The concave radius eliminates a difficult-to-reach sharp internal corner.

A separate backing channel keeps primary fixings behind the finished face.

Clip-on assembly creates an even exposed line along long room junctions.

Powder-coated aluminum tolerates routine wipe-down cleaning.

Matching end caps and three-way pieces can finish intersecting cove runs.

Customer Product Concerns

Sharp internal corners are awkward to wipe, visually emphasize sealant irregularities and can collect residue at the meeting point of two surfaces.

Cleaning cloths cannot maintain full contact inside a tight 90-degree recess.A 50 mm concave radius creates a broad, accessible wiping path.
Exposed fixings interrupt the surface at a hygiene-critical junction. The finished cove snaps over its backing channel and conceals the attachment points.
Hand-formed corner sealant often varies in width and appearance.A factory-extruded face establishes a uniform radius along the entire run.
Complex corner intersections require improvised cuts that are hard to seal neatly.Compatible end, internal and three-way accessories provide shaped termination pieces.

Technical Parameters

This profile is a finishing component rather than an insulated panel. Its defining dimension is the internal radius and its material properties come from the aluminum extrusion.

Panel ThicknessN/A — not applicable to an internal coving profile
Effective Width50 mm standard internal cove radius
Maximum Length3000 mm
Steel Facing ThicknessN/A — the profile is extruded aluminum
Core DensityN/A — no insulated core; aluminum alloy density is approximately 2700 kg/m³
Thermal ConductivityN/A — no insulated core; aluminum alloy is approximately 200 W/(m·K)
Surface FinishWhite polyester powder-coated or clear anodized
Joint TypeSnap-on cove face over a concealed backing channel with sealed edges
