Product Introduction

Six metal-sheathed resistance elements are fitted with continuous fins and supported in a rigid stainless frame. The enlarged surface area spreads electric heat into the passing air at a lower sheath loading than an exposed wire coil. Ceramic terminal insulators and a side junction box isolate power connections from the airstream, while the modular layout allows one element to be replaced without discarding the full bank.

Key Features

Metal-sheathed elements protect the resistance conductor from direct contact with the air stream.

Continuous fins increase convection area and distribute heat across the full face of the bank.

Six independently terminated elements permit staged power control and balanced three-phase loading.

A removable junction cover gives direct access to ceramic terminals and individual element connections.

Customer Product Concerns

Electric air heating must provide uniform temperature rise without overheated wire sections or inaccessible terminals.

Exposed resistance wire is vulnerable to contamination and physical damage.A stainless metal sheath encloses each resistance conductor before heat reaches the fins.
Uneven airflow creates local element overheating.Six evenly spaced finned elements spread watt density across the full heater face.
One failed element forces replacement of the complete heater. Each finned element is individually terminated and removable from the support frame.
Electrical terminals are difficult to inspect inside an AHU section. The external side junction box groups insulated connections outside the active airflow path.
