Product Introduction

The ESD Cleanroom Garment is designed to participate in a facility-defined personnel grounding system while limiting particle release. Conductive-grid polyester forms the main shell, with conductive tape or thread linking the cuff, sleeves, yokes, torso and leg panels. A designated grounding stud allows connection to the approved wearer grounding route.

Key Features

Conductive grid distributes charge across the garment surface

Integrated conductive paths connect multiple garment panels

Cuff grounding stud supports a defined bonding connection

Heat-sealed panel edges and pocket-free styling suit controlled areas

Adjustable closures help maintain body and interface coverage

Customer Product Concerns

Conductive fabric alone does not ensure a safe path to ground. Panel continuity, garment bonding, compatible footwear or cord systems, laundering effects and routine verification all influence actual ESD performance.

Conductive panels can become isolated if seams do not provide continuity.Specify conductive tape or thread routes that electrically link the required garment panels.
An ungrounded conductive garment may behave as a floating conductor.Connect the designated stud to the facility-approved wearer grounding system and verify the complete system.
Laundering or damaged snaps can change the electrical path.Include garment continuity, grounding hardware and visual condition in periodic inspection and testing.
Loose cuffs or open closures can expose charge-generating personal clothing.Use fitted conductive cuffs and keep the front closure secured during ESD-controlled work.

Typical Applications

Suitable for semiconductor fabrication, electronics assembly, disk-drive and optics production, battery component processing, laboratories and other ESD-protected clean areas with a verified grounding program.

Technical Parameters

The following ranges describe configurable garment construction, not a complete ESD system qualification. Final electrical requirements and test methods must correspond to the facility's approved ESD control plan.
