Product Introduction

This low-profile ERV arranges supply and extract fans, three panel filters and a plate recovery core in a polymer-coated steel casing intended for suspension above a ceiling. Outdoor and room air travel through isolated passages on opposite sides of the polymerized-cellulose exchanger, where sensible heat and moisture pass through the plates without direct bulk-air mixing. A 5–10 mm expanded-polyurethane lining limits casing heat loss and radiated noise, while the removable underside panel keeps the filters and exchanger reachable after installation.

Key Features

Opposed side connections use rubber-sealed Ø100 or Ø150 mm circular spigots for airtight connection to compact duct branches.

G4 and F8 supply filters provide staged intake-air filtration, while a separate G4 extract filter protects the return side.

The polymerized-cellulose plate pack transfers both heat and humidity across separated cross-flow passages.

Temperature-sensor frost protection pauses the supply fan and uses warm extract air to restore the exchanger before normal operation resumes.

Customer Product Concerns

Ceiling-mounted ventilation must recover useful exhaust-air energy without sacrificing duct tightness, winter reliability or practical maintenance access.

A deep ventilation cabinet cannot fit between the structural slab and the finished ceiling. The suspended series uses a 227–277 mm casing height and integrated mounting brackets to conserve ceiling-void depth.
Leaking or incorrectly assigned supply and extract connections undermine balanced air exchange.Four clearly separated side ports with rubber sealing rings create defined, airtight connections for the two airflow circuits.
Filters and recovery media become inaccessible once the unit is enclosed above a completed ceiling.A removable bottom panel gives direct service access to both filter stages, the extract filter and the heat exchanger without removing the side ducts.
Sub-zero intake air can freeze moisture within an enthalpy exchanger and restrict ventilation. The temperature-sensor frost routine temporarily stops intake airflow so warm extract air can thaw the plate surface before automatic restart.
