Cleanroom Detergent
- Neutral surfactant chemistry supports routine surface compatibility
- Low-foam action suits controlled wiping and mopping techniques
- Free-rinsing formulation helps limit visible detergent deposits
Product Introduction
Cleanroom detergent is a low-surfactant aqueous cleaner intended for floors, walls, ceilings, benches, doors, and compatible equipment exteriors in controlled environments. The near-neutral formulation provides general soil removal without the aggressive alkalinity of heavy-duty process cleaners. Ready-to-use liquid reduces dilution handling for local wiping, while capped bulk and measured concentrate formats can support larger-area mopping. The cleaning concentration, contact time, mechanical action, rinse step, and material compatibility should be defined by the facility's approved cleaning method.
Key Features
Low-foaming action for wipes, flat mops, and bucket systems
Low surfactant loading to simplify residue removal
Effective wetting of smooth nonporous cleanroom surfaces
Clear, colorless formulation without unnecessary dye or perfume
Ready-to-use and concentrated packaging configurations
Compatible with purified-water rinsing where required
Smooth HDPE containers suitable for controlled material transfer
Customer Product Concerns
Disinfection alone may not remove dust-binding films, oils, adhesive traces, or accumulated chemistry. Excess foam obscures surface coverage and slows rinsing, while overdosing a detergent can leave streaks or tacky deposits that attract new particles.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
Surface-active ingredients lower the wetting tension of the cleaning solution and loosen the bond between soil and a nonporous surface. A cleanroom wipe or mop then provides the mechanical action needed to capture and remove the released contamination. Where the site's residue limit requires it, a purified-water rinse completes the process.
