Product Introduction

The ceiling-mounted air handling unit condenses the required filter, coil, drain pan and fan functions into a shallow casing suspended above a corridor or support area. Hinged or removable lower panels provide service access without requiring side clearance. A direct-drive fan avoids belt maintenance in the restricted ceiling void, while a full-width drain pan and correctly trapped outlet protect the ceiling below. Flexible connections and vibration isolators limit structure-borne noise.

Key Features

A shallow horizontal casing uses ceiling-void space while preserving occupied floor area.

Bottom-access filters and fan assemblies can be serviced from a defined ceiling hatch.

A full-width sloped drain pan controls condensate beneath the cooling coil.

Direct-drive EC or plug fans provide airflow turndown without belt adjustment overhead.

Customer Product Concerns

Ceiling equipment must remain shallow, drain reliably and permit maintenance from below without contaminating the occupied space.

Side-mounted filters cannot be removed because ducts and services fill the ceiling void.Bottom-access filter tracks align with a dedicated service hatch.
A blocked drain causes water to damage the ceiling below.A sloped pan, trapped primary drain and optional overflow switch provide layered condensate protection.
Fan vibration is audible through the ceiling structure.Spring or rubber isolators and flexible duct connections decouple the unit from the building.
A deep fan section cannot fit between structure and ceiling.Compact backward-curved direct-drive fans reduce total casing height.
