Product Introduction

The targeted molecular chemical filter uses a restrained bed of activated alumina, activated carbon or chemically impregnated pellets inside a perforated metal panel or cartridge. Unlike a broad-spectrum odor panel, the media chemistry is selected for the dominant contaminant family: acid gases, ammonia and amines, oxidizing gases, sulfur compounds or VOCs. Vibratory filling produces an even packed bed and reduces settlement voids, while fine retaining screens contain the pellets. Standardized panel or modular cartridge dimensions allow the filter to be used in supply, recirculation and process-exhaust housings.

Different gaseous contaminants interact with adsorbents in different ways, so a generic carbon panel may leave the dominant corrosive or reactive gas untreated.
