Product Introduction

Stainless Steel Cleanroom Crash Rails create a continuous impact line along busy cleanroom corridors and material routes. A thick flat bar or formed rail is spaced from the wall on welded rear studs and Z-brackets, allowing trolley frames and carts to contact the guard before reaching the finished panel. Concealed front fixings leave a smooth exposed surface, and rounded or fully welded ends remove sharp edges. Standard 304 stainless steel covers most dry interiors; 316L and alternative polishing are available for higher chemical or wash-down exposure.

Key Features

A rigid stainless rail receives horizontal trolley loads before wheels or frames reach the wall panel.

Rear-mounted brackets eliminate exposed fastener heads from the impact face.

The wall offset can clear coving, service panels and minor surface projections.

Rounded ends and smooth welds avoid sharp corners along pedestrian routes.

Modular rail lengths can be joined around corridors while maintaining a consistent protection height.

Customer Product Concerns

A crash rail must protect the wall at the correct impact height, transfer loads into sound supports and remain accessible for cleaning behind the rail.

Cart frames strike the wall above low skirting and dent cleanroom panels. The rail is mounted at the actual equipment contact height to intercept horizontal movement.
Weak surface fixings pull out of thin panel skins under repeated contact.Rear brackets align with internal reinforcement or independent wall support points.
A rail mounted too close to the wall leaves no room to wipe behind it.A controlled stand-off creates cleaning access without projecting unnecessarily into the corridor.
Open tube ends and rough welds become contamination traps.Closed rounded ends and dressed welds keep the guard smooth and fully cleanable.
