Fresh Air Handling Unit
- 100% Outdoor Air Treatment
- Deep Cooling and Reheat
- Intake Filter Protection
- Cleanroom Pressurization Support
Product Introduction
A fresh air handling unit treats the full outdoor-air load required for ventilation, process exhaust replacement and building pressurization. Its treatment train normally includes weather intake protection, staged filtration, cooling and dehumidifying coils, reheat and optional humidification. Because outdoor conditions vary widely, coils and valves are selected for peak latent as well as sensible duty. The supply fan modulates to the scheduled ventilation quantity while frost protection and drainable wet sections protect the unit during seasonal operation.
Key Features
Deep cooling followed by controlled reheat separates moisture removal from final supply-air temperature.
Intake screens, dampers and prefilters protect coils from weatherborne debris and particulate loading.
Supply-air volume can track facility exhaust or pressure demand through variable-speed fan control.
Customer Product Concerns
Outdoor air imposes the widest temperature, moisture and contamination range on a cleanroom HVAC system.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
