Product Introduction

The explosion relief damper mounts a rigid aluminum-faced honeycomb panel in a structural angle frame. Magnetic, trigger or fracture releases hold the panel against a perimeter seal during normal operation. A rapid internal pressure rise overcomes the selected release load and swings or lifts the panel clear of the opening. Hinges, spring beds, tethers or deflector plates control panel travel and reaction force, while reclosable release arrangements allow the opening to be reset after inspection when the components remain serviceable.
