Product Introduction

The closed RABS forms a more complete enclosure around the aseptic process than an open RABS. Rigid panels, sealed lower interfaces and closed doors define the work zone, while filtered air is supplied and returned through the barrier system. Operators intervene through glove ports and use interlocked doors only for controlled setup or maintenance. The system is not automatically equivalent to a gas-tight isolator; its chamber leakage, cleaning and bio-decontamination approach depend on the selected construction.
