Product Introduction

Cleanroom sealant is a one-component moisture-curing polymer supplied in cartridges for controlled application along wall-panel seams, ceiling junctions, frames and service penetrations. Its non-sag body holds a shaped bead on vertical and overhead joints, while the cured elastomer accommodates small movements between dissimilar substrates. A fine, continuous surface reduces ledges where residue can collect and allows routine wipe-down around the sealed transition.

Key Features

A non-sag consistency supports controlled beads on vertical wall and overhead ceiling joints.

Elastic curing accommodates normal differential movement between coated steel, aluminum and adjacent finishes.

The tooled surface forms a continuous transition with fewer recesses for dust and cleaning residue.

Low-odor, low-emission formulations are available for sensitive controlled interiors.

Customer Product Concerns

A cleanroom joint must remain airtight and cleanable while adjoining panels and frames move slightly in service.

Rigid fillers crack when metal panels and frames expand at different rates. The cured elastomer stretches and recovers across normal joint movement instead of forming a brittle bridge.
Rough beads retain dust and resist complete wipe-down.Controlled extrusion and tooling create a fine, continuous hygienic surface.
Poor adhesion opens bypass paths at coated metal or frame edges.Substrate-specific preparation and compatible primers establish continuous flank adhesion.
Deep joints consume excessive sealant and cure unevenly.A correctly sized backing material controls bead depth and preserves the intended joint profile.
