Product Introduction

Antistatic flexible duct hose is designed for moving dry particles or process air where friction against an insulating hose wall could accumulate electrostatic charge. A conductive or permanently antistatic polyurethane wall is reinforced by an embedded spring-steel helix that can be electrically bonded at the connection. The smooth inner contour reduces particle deposits, while the flexible body follows movable extract arms and production equipment. Hose resistance, grounding method and material compatibility are selected for the conveyed media and area classification.

Key Features

Permanently antistatic polyurethane limits charge accumulation without a temporary surface coating.

An embedded steel helix reinforces the bore and provides a defined bonding path at each end.

Abrasion-resistant wall material withstands dry powder and fiber extraction better than light fabric duct.

Flexible geometry accommodates moving pickup points and machine vibration without rigid elbows.

Customer Product Concerns

Static control requires both a suitable hose wall and a continuous electrical path through the fittings, clamps and equipment bonding network.

Dry powder flow charges an ordinary insulating hose surface.A permanently antistatic wall controls surface resistance throughout the hose material.
The hose is antistatic but its wire helix is not bonded at the machine connection.Conductive fittings and verified bonding connect the reinforcement to the facility grounding path.
A thin hose wears through at the outside of repeated bends.Abrasion-resistant polyurethane and a controlled minimum bend radius extend service life.
Powder accumulates inside deep corrugations and contaminates later batches.A flow-optimized inner wall and short routing reduce ledges and retained material.
