Product Introduction

The adjustable disc air valve provides a simple terminal for small branch airflows in cleanroom support rooms, toilets and service spaces. Turning the central steel disc changes the annular free area and therefore the pressure drop through the valve; a lock nut secures the selected position after balancing. The formed casing fits a standard round duct sleeve, and spring or bayonet retainers allow the complete valve to be removed for cleaning. Supply versions discharge radially across the wall or ceiling, while extract versions draw air evenly around the perimeter gap.

Key Features

The threaded center disc provides continuous rather than stepped adjustment of the airflow opening.

A lock nut holds the balanced setting so routine wiping does not change the annular gap.

The rounded powder-coated face presents a compact cleanable terminal for small rooms.

Standard 100–200 mm spigots connect directly to circular duct sleeves without a separate plenum.

Customer Product Concerns

A small air terminal must provide usable balancing adjustment without a bulky plenum or exposed damper handle.

A fixed circular outlet cannot be balanced after the branch duct is installed.Rotating the center disc changes the annular airway until the measured volume reaches the intended value.
Cleaning staff accidentally change the final air-valve setting. The selected disc position is secured with a hidden spindle lock nut behind the face.
A large grille looks disproportionate in a narrow support-room ceiling.Compact 100–200 mm nominal sizes provide a restrained circular room-side appearance.
The duct sleeve becomes inaccessible behind a fixed valve.Spring or bayonet mounting allows the complete valve body to withdraw for inspection and cleaning.
