Product Introduction

The activated carbon panel filter provides a compact gas-phase filtration stage for air handlers and recirculation units with limited depth. Activated carbon is either bonded to a porous support and pleated or retained as a thin granular bed between perforated screens. A galvanized-steel or moisture-resistant polymer frame holds the adsorbent uniformly across the face. The panel is suited to moderate concentrations of odors, ozone and volatile organic compounds, especially where a conventional particulate prefilter can protect the carbon surface from dust.
