Product Introduction

This water-cooled condensing package integrates a scroll compressor, shell-and-tube condenser, receiver, refrigerant accessories and electrical controls on one rigid base. Cooling water removes compressor heat through the condenser while liquid refrigerant feeds a remote DX air-handler coil. The absence of outdoor condenser fans reduces footprint and sound, making the format useful where a building condenser-water loop is already available.

Key Features

A shell-and-tube condenser provides stable heat transfer to a treated condenser-water circuit.

Skid piping includes receiver, filter-drier, sight glass and isolation points arranged for service access.

Compact compressor and control placement suits indoor plantrooms with restricted outdoor equipment space.

Removable water-box covers permit inspection of the condenser tube sheet and mechanical cleaning access.

Customer Product Concerns

An indoor condensing package must balance compactness, water-side serviceability and stable refrigerant delivery to a remote evaporator.

Outdoor equipment space or allowable sound is limited. The unit rejects heat to building water and operates without large condenser fans.
Condenser tubes gradually collect scale or suspended solids.A removable end cover provides direct tube-sheet access for inspection and cleaning.
Field-built refrigeration skids create inconsistent component layouts.Factory assembly places the compressor, receiver, controls and service valves on one tested structural base.
Variable condenser-water temperature can destabilize head pressure.Water-flow control and refrigerant safeties maintain an appropriate condensing range as the loop changes.
