Product Introduction

The room pressure control system combines a low-range differential pressure sensor, room controller, modulating airflow device and local display. It regulates the offset between supply and exhaust so the room remains positive or negative relative to its reference space. Door contacts allow the controller to suspend aggressive correction while a door is open, avoiding actuator hunting and airflow overshoot. The local display gives occupants immediate status while the network interface sends pressure, alarms and operating mode to the supervisory system.

Key Features

Low-range differential measurement resolves the small pressure relationships used in cleanrooms.

Door-open logic reduces unnecessary damper movement during normal personnel passage.

Cascade control can coordinate supply and exhaust devices around a defined airflow offset.

Local indication and remote network values present the same room condition to users and operators.

Customer Product Concerns

Room pressure can change within seconds when a door opens, an exhaust device changes state or an airflow path becomes restricted.

A door opening causes the controller to drive the airflow device to an extreme position.Door-aware logic holds or limits correction until the doorway disturbance has cleared.
Independent supply and exhaust loops fight each other and destabilize the room.A coordinated airflow offset maintains one consistent pressure-control strategy.
Small pressure changes are hidden by an unsuitable high-range sensor.A dedicated low-differential-pressure transducer provides the resolution needed for room control.
Occupants cannot tell whether the room is safe to enter.A color status display and audible alarm make the current pressure condition visible at the door.
