Product Introduction

The Remote Viable Air Sampler separates the electropolished stainless sampling head from the control and blower enclosure. Only the cleanable head and process tubing enter the isolator or RABS, while moving parts and interfaces remain accessible outside the critical zone. Air drawn through the perforated lid impacts microorganisms onto a culture plate, then passes through a sealed hose and controlled valve path. Flow regulation, pressure checks and optional decontamination circulation support repeatable fixed-point monitoring without placing serviceable electronics inside containment.

Key Features

A remote stainless sampling head minimizes equipment mass and heat inside the critical zone.

Closed-loop mass-flow regulation controls sample volume through the installed tubing path.

Tri-clamp joints and a double-valve arrangement support leak testing, cleaning and VHP-cycle integration.

Digital and industrial communication options allow operation from the isolator HMI or monitoring system.

Customer Product Concerns

Remote sampling must preserve microbial recovery through tubing while preventing leakage, backflow and inaccessible contamination traps.

Electronics placed inside an isolator complicate cleaning and qualification. The blower, display and communication hardware remain outside while only a smooth stainless head enters containment.
Long tubing can alter the regulated flow and sampling efficiency.A mass-flow loop compensates for installed resistance within the validated tubing configuration.
The sample path may be excluded from routine VHP decontamination.Dedicated valves and a sterilization circulation path expose the head and tubing to the configured cycle.
A loose tri-clamp or hose leak causes an unrepresentative sample.Sealed sanitary joints and a pressure-test provision verify air-path integrity before monitoring.
